Writing Ideas:
Write you own "love letter". Get
a copy of "Love Letters" (shown above), you can check your
local library or order one if need be, and read the different
kinds of letters people have written to those they care about.
You could write a letter to your parents or grandparents, to a
best friend, your dog, or to the big tree you love to climb in.
Before you start, do some pre-writing: try to think about
the things you like about this person, the good memories you
have, the ways they have helped you or made you feel better,
what sets them apart from everyone else. Also think
about how you want to organize your letter: do you want to
tell a story about a special time you shared, or just list all
the great things you came up with. Think about the letters
in the book. Is there one that you could use as a
"template", as an example for how you'll put your own letter
together?
You'll need to
order the box for this craft, but when you're done
you'll have a very special valentine that you can fill
with tiny candies -- or something even more special.
